About Me & Contact
Autumn Justine Miller is a Chicago area self-taught artist who creates acrylic on wood panel art that fuses pop surrealism, lowbrow, Victorian era style, and dystopia. She loves to combine warm and fuzzy subjects with dark imagery. She creates her art out of a studio in the near West Chicago suburbs.
Autumn’s professional career started with architecture after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2000 she joined the dot.com Internet boom and transitioned to digital graphics, e-commerce, and photographic manipulation. Autumn was raised in the western Chicago suburbs then moved to the West Coast in Portland, the Bay Area, and Boise, for 8 years before returning to Chicago.
Though her professional roots lie in the digital and structural realms, she eventually turned to traditional painting as a vital, hands-on outlet for her personal creative vision. Besides her creative endeavors, she is an avid traveler, photographer, fitness enthusiast, and dedicated explorer of Chicago’s vibrant neighborhoods
